Situated in the prestigious Statham’s Landing neighborhood, The Landings Golf Club offers challenging golf for all skill levels, the fastest greens in Central Georgia, and a newly renovated club house – all open to the public.
With five sets of tees, the course plays from 7000 to 4875 yards, with a comfortable 6284 from the whites. The TIF Eagle greens, rebuilt in 2005, have matured into the kind of “greens the pros” play with consistent 10 STIMP readings and quicker for tournaments. The course at River Forest was designed to cleverly include natural elements such as granite formations deriving from the Stone Mountain rock system spreading through Georgia. In other areas strategic placements of rocks and lakes make for a very picturesque experience. The design has amazed golfers throughout the state and the country, and the perfect putting bentgrass greens along with lush fairways create a wonderful environment for a round of golf.
